ABOUT CAPTAIN SOFT SERVE

Captain Soft Serve offers a happy and friendly service to our clients, whether at their residence, private function or public event and has made many friends over the years as well as many happy memories of the Ice Cream Van for the children as we all have from when we were young.

We have operated our Ice Cream Van in Rockingham since 2007, have held a continuous Trading Permit with the City of Rockingham for almost eight years and have also been licensed to operate in the City of Kwinana.

We have a very well established customer base in Rockingham as we enjoy our “street runs” as well as attending corporate events, school fairs, fetes, carnivals, festivals, sporting events, birthday parties and even weddings.

Prior to purchasing the ice cream van, we had extensive experience in the ice cream business as we were owners of the ice cream store in the old Kwinana Hub for many years.

Our ice cream van is fully insured for Public Liability ($10 million) which meets the criteria for most public events.

We can be found on Sunday mornings at the Rockingham Rotary swap meet since our first time there in 2010. On the first Saturday morning of each month we operate at the Lions Market in Baldivis, which we have attended since its inception in January 2013.

Our ice cream machine is a twin barrel Carpigiani machine operating on three phase power from our own generator and can keep pace with the busiest of days ahead of many other operators’ smaller machines which often need time to refreeze as they try and keep up with demand.

We at Captain Soft Serve pride ourselves on our attention to hygiene and cleanliness, our ice cream van and machinery is regularly scrubbed out and sanitised to maintain high health and hygiene standards. In all of the years of operation we have NEVER had a bad health inspection. We are sure that our fresh, clean approach will add great value to your next event.

WE DO NOT INCREASE OUR NORMAL VAN PRICES FOR EVENTS, as we don’t think it’s fair that you should have to pay more for ice cream just because you are at a function or event.

Time and again our customers, old and new, tell us of other ice cream vans charging more and giving less, vans are dirty, quality of service is unsatisfactory, and wish they had contacted Captain Soft Serve first.
